Being more photogenic: Step One

We all wish to be a bit more photogenic, because obviously we all want to look good in pictures. But being photogenic is not something that everyone has right off the pat, but it is something that can be obtained.

Yes alot of the models you see all over the internet are really good looking people, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they were photogenic straight away, they obtained their good looks in photos by practicing, learning and altering.

For the practicing part of the equation, all you need to do is to dedicate 5 to 10 mins every day to stare at the mirror and pose, you can try different poses and expressions to see what suits you best.

And try to smile in many different ways from a wide smile to a straight face to learn which smiles looks best and to develop a natural photogenic smile, because if you keep practicing all of this daily, you will end up being able to strike a pose without thinking alot about what you should do because you already know which pose will look good on you.

Obviously you don’t have to stick to one pose though, keep on finding new poses that suit you, and train on them to till you do them effortlessly.

Another great way to practice is to search photos of your favorite male model / celebrity, and look at the way they pose and take pictures, try to learn their poses and mimick them infront of the mirror, to till you feel you are posing like them.

And you can always ask a close friend to take a photo of you, then afterwards you can ask them about what they think of the way you look and how you posed and smiled, and if there is anything that you can improve.

And always remember to practice posing confidently, a confident pose gives a greater impact, so pose confidently and with a good gesture.

And I am going to post two more posts about this subject to till you about what you should learn, and how you can alter your looks, so you can give me a follow and stay tuned to learn more about this.

Practice makes perfect gentleman, so you better start practicing! 💕😋

I’ve always wondered how to take better pictures of my face, because no matter how hard I try, they always turn out weird. i also want to mention that most people don’t like how they look in pictures because they usually see the reverse of that in the mirror. Everyone should know that, no, we don’t look ugly in pictures because we look bad, it’s just because we’re not used to how we look that way. Besides, how everyone sees you is exactly that. Okay, my favorite male model is Matt Bomer. He’s conventionally beautiful. I’m not going to share with you my absolute favorite celebrity though since his looks are a little bit unconventionally beautiful and people might judge, so it’s a secret. Great post by the way!

    1. I really agree with what you said, that is why practicing infront of the mirror and taking more pictures is important because it will help you feel more comfortable about how you look in photos, and you will learn how to look your best and feel happy with it. And yes Matt Bomer is a really handsome man, his eyes are really beautiful, he has a nice strong jawline, and I really like his classic taste in style. And you can feel free to tell us about your favorite celebrity since I made these daily questions so we can have a healthy debate about what ever the question is. And I really appreciate your support, you are truly amazing! 💕😋
